I began to race at 6 thanks to my grandfather, who loved cycling. My career has been 28 years long and the cycling has always had a fundamental part in my life. Also now I really love biking. Sometimes with friends, sometimes alone, but always with the will to reach my limits and test the feeling with my bike. These are real victories for a cyclist! It’s exciting to “know” a bicycle, discovering its qualities and where it can improve. After so many years a bike is like a part of me and every time that I ride one I feel like when I was just a little child with the passion of cycling and at the same time like the pro who rose his arms winning Giro d’Italia stages.
Divo is an italian word that means “a very important person”. A Vip is how I want my clients feel when they ride our bikes. Until recent times, every bike was custom. You know, I had my first standard size only in 2005! The cycling experience is as better as the bike is fit to you. Actually, if you don’t ride a custom bike, you are not able to let off all your muscular energy on the pedals and your performances won’t be the best. DIVO st is the result of my experience on the road mixed with the technology and the work of skilled craftsmen that have chosen to produce our bike in carbon, the best material for the best performances.
I have cycled more than 500,000 miles on my bicycle, on the toughest climbs in the world, with the greatest riders and in the worst weather conditions.
